On 16-18 March 2009 the National Policing Improvement Agency (NPIA) conducted a stage III inspection of the Constabulary Initial Police Learning and Development Programme (IPLDP). This was a stage III inspection marking the final validation of quality assurance for the IPLDP programme, and a copy of the stage III validation report and confirmation letter are attached at Appendix A. The report highlights the findings and recommendations from the inspection, and current status concerning any actions taken forward.
