The Statement
of Aspirations was published in June 1998. It is a document which sets out
the nature of the service the Suffolk Police Authority aims to achieve in
the county over the next ten years. The Statement is the product of extensive
consultation with the people of Suffolk - including through policing forums.
It reflects their views along with the aims and priorities of the Police Authority.
It also incorporates the views of the Force and
has enthusiastic support of the Chief Constable.
This summary details the Five Aspirations together with what each will mean for the public.
